Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz margarine
  • 6oz caster sugar
  • 2.75 oz dark muscavado sugar
  • 4.5 oz dark chocolate
  • 1tbsp golden syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 3.5 oz self raising flour
  • 2tsb cocoa powder

Method

  1. Heat butter, sugar, chocolate and golden syrup in a saucepan. Allow to cool.
  2. Beat together eggs and add to chocolate mix.
  3. Mix flour and cocoa powder then fold into chocolate mix.
  4. Put mixture in tin and bake for 25 minutes at 180 celcius.
